Rees Racing News

A first newsletter keeping in touch of what's been going on and off the track for the kennels. We've had some nice winners at Hove in recent weeks with one standout performer being young Nov 19 bitch Whats Up Eva, she showed promise in trials and from her first race in A4 she's gone from strength to strength, going unbeaten in 4 starts showing excellent early pace in and a great will to win. She will be aimed towards the Brighton Belle all going well.

Glenefy Jack was a standout loser on debut on RPGTV and his next race was one better, winning at short odds of 4/6, he showed brilliant gears down the back to power to the front and not look back, a march 20 pup and a strapping 37kilo dog he is sure to improve and become a nice dog for the kennel.

Hilight Arkle trialled back following his near loss in the Kent Derby Final at Central Park clocking 16.42 at Hove. He is very well in himself and we are yet to make a decision on running him in the Olympic at Hove.

No Luck at Swindon this weekend with 3 runners, Sheila Bee ran a good race to finish 2nd in the bitches race with Droopys Mabel finding trouble at the first putting her chances to bed early. Burnchurch Mick was short of a run and badly drawn in trap 4 in the standard, a missed break saw his chances ended early but he will come on for the run. Puppy Moanteen Eddie clocked 28.71 in a trial before racing wich was very pleasing.

Southwood Jet is working well at the kennels and will hopefully trial back in the coming weeks, he has had two setbacks since being aimed for this years Derby at Towcester with has been dissapointing, but he's lightly raced and has a great attitude and we will take it slowly in bringing him back.
